At St. Moninna’s we were flat out during World Maths Day. We had so many different activities going on around the school and indeed the town as the P3s did some Maths during their trip into our city. The P4 children spent lots of time researching famous Mathematicians from history. We also had a visit from one of our parents who came in to talk to us about what it’s like to have your own business and how important Maths is in this job. The P6 and P7 children were also very busy doing activities which involved some very challenging Numeracy Problems. The Numeracy buzz around our school was fantastic. Well done to all of the children and to their teachers for creating such fantastic opportunities for the children to showcase their Numeracy Skills.
