This week the boys and girls in Primary 7 focussed on biomedical engineering. They found out that biomedical engineers create and design improvements or solutions to problems related to the human body and they now recognise some of the devices that are made and designed by biomedical engineers. Both classes had great fun creating their own prosthetic hand using paper, straw, masking tape and string. It was very tricky but the pupils were amazed when they saw it working!
