On Wednesday 8th February our Primary 3 children took part in the ‘Stones Project’ in conjunction with the emergency services and first responders. The purpose of this project was to help raise awareness of a big problem these services have finding houses. Many houses don’t have a house number, particularly in the countryside, and the emergency services lose valuable time trying to find them. To help out, the children all painted a house number on a large stone for a family member who does not have one on their door or lane. We would like to thank everyone who got involved in this initiative, particularly Mallon’s Hardware who donated all the paint and paintbrushes to the children on the day.
