P6 were very fortunate to have recently visited the Newry Mourne and Down Council chamber. We had been learning about local government and had wanted to engage with our local representatives to find out more about their job and about local issues pertaining to our community. Our thanks go to Councillor Michael Savage, Chairperson of the Council and all of the staff in Downpatrick. We are very grateful for their hospitality.
