Mr. Murtagh's P6 children have been learning about plants and their functions this term. What better way to learn than to get involved in a bit of gardening. To get their project up and running they contacted Newry Mourne and Down Council and put in a bid for money to provide tools and seeds. The Council were kind enough to see merit in the project and they later came back to see the finished product. This was a great experience for the children. Thanks to all those at Newry Mourne and Down who helped out.
