Recently our school took part in Maths Week. A week where all over Ireland, the principles of Mathematics and Numeracy were explored by children. At St. Moninna's, there were a wide range of fun based Maths activities that took place within each class. At the end of Maths Week, it was up to each teacher to choose one Mathematician from their class who really stood out. Each child was chosen for a variety of reasons - some due to their perseverance, some due to the way in which they solved a problem and some who engaged brilliantly throughout the whole week. Mrs Mc Givern, our Numeracy Co-Ordinator, would like to congratulate you all and all of our children who took part in all of the activities. We all had great fun!
