The Primary 7 children enjoyed meeting and talking with local author, Declan Carville (in collaboration with the AMMA Centre). They enjoyed reading and exploring the themes in his book, 'Nelly Fandango' and discussing how they related to their transition to the Post Primary school in September. The children also learned how to create and animate a character for a story. A huge thank you to Declan for providing the children with some top tips for becoming a writer/illustrator too!
